RUMAH BAKTI

Bakti is a shelter home for the orphans, the destitute & the underprivileged
children. It was formed in 1976 and situated in a 5 acre land along Jalan Hulu
Kelang near Kuala Lumpur which was contributed by the Selangor State Government
in 1973.
There
are 130 children aged 8 and above.
Aims
and Activities

To organise “Fardu Air” religious classes
-
To provide rehabilitation & special academic classes for slow learners whilst extra attention is given to children who qualify to sit for U.P.S.R., P.M.R. & S.P.M. examination.

To nurture the good quality of life & moral conduct in the children to educate them to be self reliant in the future.

To inculcate positive values in the children to be caring citizens with social responsibilities.

The Home continues wholeheartedly to support qualified children who can strife for higher institution of learning in academic studies & vocational training.
At present there are 14 full staff & our expenditure depends much on public’s contribution. Public contribution in cash & kind is very much welcomed.
