return to the main page

As apart from organizing major events, charity dinners and charity sale for our fund raising, the Association has been actively engaged in recycling for charity since 1992. We will therefore want to play a pro-active role in an area that we are experienced at. On one hand we will be able to raise funds for our community projects and on the other help clean the environment and reduce wastage by recycling activities. It's a win-win situation.

Why not recycle aluminum tin cans for charity?

What we are looking for?

We appeal to the members of the caring society to compliment us with the following items:
  • Papers:
    Any form of used/ old paper materials- Newspaper, magazines, books, computer papers etc.

    Aluminium tin cans, metal scraps etc.

  • Old Clothing:

 We aim to inspire the public to be environmentally friendly while helping the country reduce imports on all types of papers worth RM 1.7 billion yearly especially in this economic slowdown.

Stack up those newspaper high and steady, donate them to us you'll be helping the needy

During uncertain economic times, most welfare homes had suffered a lot from the shortage of financial contributions. Both the corporate sector and individual contributors has cut-down on their budgets. We believe that our method of raising funds from recycling activities will be able to supplement and support our selfless services. We therefore urge members of the caring society to support our Love Malaysia, Recycle for Community Service Campaign. By contributing waste papers, metal scraps, old clothing and etc. we will be able to continuously support the needy on social and welfare aid requirement.

As part of our on-going effort to make this an international charity event, we sincerely welcome suggestions from anyone interested to help us in this, regardless of nationality, race or even religion. You may be able to help not only needy people in Malaysia, but your generosity in any form will definitely benefit people in other countries especially in Asia.
